History

Oliveira Tomaz is the creator of Girolando Muquém. Owner Farms Muquém ( Silver / MG ) and High Bridge (Conceição das Alagoas , MG ), until the past decade was devoted to livestock. In 2003 , Tomaz decides to completely transform the management activities and purposes of the properties. The goal was to add more value to livestock , seeking greater economic and social balance . The idea was to migrate from the beef cattle for genetic selection and activity of milk production , focusing on the development and supply of animals, embryos and pregnancies of superior genetics .

In 2004 , after making feasibility analysis , among the various dairy breeds , Tomaz Girolando chose to believe to be one that presents the best cost benefit in the dairy business , giving the creator and producer with a better balance when considering hardiness , production and management, enabling a truly sustainable dairy farming .

The genetic quest for excellence has been defined within Girolando , focusing on the blood level 5 / 8 , aiming at the formation of a flock of high genetic quality and productive.

In search of sublime quality proven genetics and milk productivity in 2005, Oliveira Tomaz acquired arrays (donor) of extraordinary quality genetics, originating from different breeders recognized nationally. Thus some 30 donors of various degrees of blood form a genetic basis very solid , allowing , from the beginning of the activities, have a squad of high quality.

Formed the team of donors , the Girolando Muquém opted for accelerated breeding through IVF methodology , performing since the first year ( 2006) 180 products IVF ( 90% females with blood level 5 / 8 Holstein , 3 / 8 Gyr ).

The Portfolio of Girolando Muquém provides animals ( cows , heifers , bulls , calves (as), pregnancies , embryos ) and services ( casqueamento and preparation of animals for shows and sales ).

The latest results of several exhibitions on the track official , and the productivity of our heifers under field show that the strategy and the path taken are correct. Our greatest satisfaction is receiving feedback from our customers, attesting to the quality and productivity of our animals.
