Bulls Girolando: The consolidation of the race.
In like manner the programs of the Gir and Guzera Dairy, already implemented in Brazil, began in 1997 in partnership with EMBRAPA Dairy Cattle, Artificial Insemination Centers and active participation of the designers themselves, the Progeny Test Program of Girolando .
Currently 75 players 3 / 4 and 5 / 8 Holstein are being tested through their progeny.
Five groups of bulls, totaling 32, have already published their evidence. We highlight below, the ratio of 10 bulls in the first placed Summary:

 

The 6th composite battery with seven players (six-grade 5 / 8 Hol and a 3 / 4 Holstein) will have their results reported in MEGALEITE 2010 in July this year.
The results obtained with the Programme Test Players, significant effects are already noticeable. There is a security and reliability in the use of sperm, thus, the Girolando comes knocking successive records in the marketing of semen, as shown in the chart below, based on the 2009 report released by ASBIA:

 

Milk Control:
Dairy Animal Control is the most important tool for the job of breeding herd. Through this service we come to know individual milk production of each matrix, the persistence of lactation, calving interval, etc..

Besides being important in plant breeding, dairy Control helps the producer to identify health problems of their animals through the oscillation of milk production, feeding helps in directing the squad to feed according to production.

It is also through the control that can make dairy genetic evaluation of mothers and of breeding, or dairy without control is not possible to test progeny of breeding Girolando.
